The cooking teacher was also accused of sexual abuse

A Kitchener teacher is facing four other charges of sexual assault involving a teenager.

Waterloo Regional Police on Tuesday announced two new charges of sexual assault and two counts of sexual assault against Khalil Deep of the Wilmot community.

Dipper, 52, teaches at Queens Hill Public School in the Kitchener’s Forest Hills neighborhood.

Waterloo area police were first informed on February 2 that the teenager had been sexually assaulted by a teacher.

A spokesman confirmed to CTV News at the time that there were seven victims involved in the investigation.

Deep, who was not named until April 11, was charged with eight counts of sexual assault and sexual harassment.

On March 21, investigators received another report that Deep and a teenager were sexually assaulted at a school in Forest Hills.

Police believe there are other victims and are asking anyone with information to contact WRPS at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

In an email to CTV News, Waterloo Borough School Board said: “This staff member was sent home shortly after the complaint and was therefore unable to visit the WRDSB campus.”

He added: “As the matter is currently in court we are unable to discuss the details of the situation. For more information please contact Waterloo Regional Police.
